- FlyPort WiFi Platform

The FlyPort is an OpenPicus compact WiFi development platform. Measuring 35mm by 48mm, it is based on the Microship PIC24J256GA106 processor, with 256k of flash and 16K of RAM, running at 16 MIPS. It includes a MRF24WB0MA/RM WiFi certified transceiver.
As well as having 5V tolarant inputs and outputs, 4 analogue inputs, the UART, SPI and I2C pins are made available for your use, along with three LEDs.
You can use the development standalone or combine it with your existing projects to add WiFi and hence internet connectivity.
MPLAB development projects are provided, however OpenPicus have developed an entire IDE and framework to make programming and using the device easier. You can control everything on the board with a set of simple commands.
You can run a webserver, send emails, or run socket applications, all from this tiny platform!
