Schmartboard make some fantastic tools for building microcontroller prototypes.  We use their PIC Schmartboard all the time.  It makes it easy to solder a SOIC PIC in place and then you have a neat prototyping board ready to jumper wire to other things.



Schmartboard are giving away three iPads in a design competition!  All you have to do is design a microcontroller circuit using one of their boards, including the PIC ez board.  It's a great chance to explore their popular boards and possibly score yourself a new gadget as well.
